Teddy’s author, Linda, met so many SLP colleagues at her poster session, “Give Your Students a Hand: Puppet-Powered Intervention for Speech, Language and Literacy! The conference was held in Philadelphia by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and well attended by speech-language pathologists in a variety of settings. The interactive poster session presented practical ideas for using puppetry as an intervention tool. And, of course, Teddy Talker® also incorporates principles of puppetry, as children “animate” speech sounds and bring them to life!
